Build from the records you have
Relationship scans and portfolio building use connected history to assemble client and project context. They depend on the available records; an empty mailbox or incomplete history cannot provide a complete account of the relationship.
Step by step
- Open Clients and choose the relationship whose history you want to review.
- Check that relevant emails and files are available in this company and linked to the client.
- Click Read history and build portfolio when you want to build its portfolio.
- Follow the displayed progress. Use Background AI to inspect related queued work instead of starting another run.
- When it finishes, read the summary and open loops, then compare important claims with the original emails or documents.
- If the project run failed, read the error and click Continue / retry when offered. Check the AI allowance or connection if the same error recurs.
If processing fails
Read the portfolio error. A failed project offers Continue / retry. Background AI can show whether related work is active or queued. Check AI usage and the relevant connection if repeated processing errors continue.
Check the result
The generated portfolio should be grounded in the company’s available records. An incomplete mail history can produce incomplete context.
Compare the resulting client summary and project history with the original records, especially dates, people, commitments and open work. If evidence is missing, bring in the relevant source or correct its client/project link before asking for another build. A generated portfolio is not a substitute for checking a contract or client approval.
Before starting
You need client access and permission to start client processing. Source access, the company’s writable subscription state and available AI allowance also matter. Check the client’s addresses, domains and linked records before building a summary from them.
Understand progress and completion
The progress panel separates Read and assign emails, Build project histories, and Build client summary and health. A queued or running status means work is unfinished. Once the run is queued, it continues in the background if you leave the page. Return to the client or project to inspect its progress and completed summary.
