Step by step

  1. Open Settings → AI usage in the company you want to inspect.
  2. Expand Reporting period & filters on a smaller screen. Choose This month, Last month or another preset, or set From and To.
  3. Review Spend, Calls, the failed-call count and Daily spend. Compare the model and feature breakdowns.
  4. Use Feature or Model to narrow the report; Clear filters restores all activity for the date range. This page shows aggregate breakdowns, not a list of individual calls or error messages.
  5. If Spend is labelled provisional, its cost may still change when billed figures arrive. Use Recalculate costs when your permissions allow it, then check the updated result.
  6. For a limit, open Settings → Billing. For a processing failure, return to the affected email, document, project or Sidekick conversation, read its error and use that feature’s retry control.

The assistant is not the only AI activity

Features such as document reading, email analysis and portfolio generation can also use AI. The breakdown helps identify where the company allowance is being used instead of assuming every charge came from chat.

If work stops at a limit

Check the allowance and subscription state in Settings → Billing. An owner can review an available AI top-up or plan change. For other errors, use the affected feature’s error message and retry controls; repeatedly starting the same work can make diagnosis harder.

Check the result

Usage includes background analysis as well as assistant chat. Repeatedly starting the same job can add work without fixing its underlying cause.

Access and what the report means

Viewing AI usage requires company viewing permission. Recalculating costs requires company editing permission. The selected period and filters change the report, not the company’s allowance. Provisional cost and confirmed billed cost are different; this activity report is not a GoodCompany subscription invoice.

If expected usage is missing

Check the selected company, dates and filters first. No AI calls in this range describes the current selection. If loading fails, reopen AI usage and retain the error message. A failed-call count tells you that some activity failed; open the feature where the work ran to find its recovery instructions.

Labels use the English interface. Available pages and actions depend on your company, plan and permissions.
