THE WHOLE STORY, A LITTLE CLOSER

Start with a question.
Keep the context.

The useful details already live in your company. Now your favourite AI can work with them, too.

Here’s the picture.

The website proposal is in Documents. The latest client email asks for a simpler homepage, and the design review is the next open task.

A FAMILIAR WAY TO WORK

Less copying.
More doing.

Keep the AI you like working with. Give it the company context it’s been missing.

Catch up before a call. Find the detail in a proposal. Turn the conversation into a task. All without carrying the same information from one window to another.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Glad you asked.

What is MCP, in plain language?

Model Context Protocol is a common way for an AI app to connect to another service. GoodCompany’s MCP server lets a compatible app work with your company records after you sign in and choose what it can access.

Which AI apps can I connect?

Use ChatGPT, Claude or the Codex CLI with remote MCP and OAuth. Custom connector availability depends on your app, version and workspace settings. The setup guides above walk you through each connection.

Can my AI app change things?

Yes, when you choose write access and your company role permits the action. Supported actions include creating tasks, updating records, drafting and sending emails, and changing calendar events. Your AI app handles confirmations according to its settings. A company administrator can require additional GoodCompany review for sensitive actions.

Does it see everything in my company?

No. Each connection belongs to one company and only has the permissions you grant. Your existing record visibility, company permissions and supported features still apply. Responses use the records stored or synced in GoodCompany.

How is this different from Sidekick?

Sidekick is your AI partner inside GoodCompany. MCP brings permitted company context to an external AI app you already use. You can use either, or both. Your external AI account and its usage limits are managed by that provider.

Can I disconnect it later?

Yes. Open Settings → Connected AI apps to review activity and revoke a connection. Owners and administrators can also disable AI app access for the company.

A little less explaining.
A lot more possibility.

Your company context, ready for your next good idea.
