First, make it

Make your first
useful move.

Pick the work that’s already on your mind. These are real paths through the app, so you know exactly where to start.

CLIENT WORKGive one client a home.
  1. Open Clients → Add client. Enter a name, email or domain and choose Add client in the dialog.
  2. Open that client’s profile. Choose Add project, name the work and select Create project.
  3. Go to Tasks → New task. Give the next action a title, link it to the client or project and choose Create task.

A client, a project and a clear next step.

YOUR DAYGet one thing out of your head.
  1. Open Tasks and choose New task.
  2. Add a title, set the details, priority, due date and assignee you need, then choose Create task.

03 / YOUR WORK, WITH A PLACE TO GO

Less “where was that?”
More “here it is.”

The sidebar groups your day, relationships, money and knowledge. Start with what’s useful today; the rest is there when you need it.

04 / A LITTLE DIRECTION, WHEN YOU NEED IT

You don’t have to
hold it all
in your head.

Sidekick is the AI assistant for your workspace. Ask it to find information in your connected work, or help turn an intention into a task.

In the app, open Sidekick in the sidebar, or tap Sidekick in the mobile bottom navigation.

Get to know Sidekick

Once the workspace is open, guides and ideas follow a real job across email, clients and money.

A GOOD FIRST QUESTION
“What tasks are still
open for me?”

Try it after you’ve added a task. Answers depend on the records in your workspace and your access to them.

You stay in the loop.

When an interactive proposal asks for a decision, review it and choose Approve or Reject. Separately configured background work can act automatically. Check the result and its source before relying on it.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you begin.

Do I have to connect email or a bank to get started?

No. Choose I’ll set up manually to start with clients and tasks, or skip optional sources during guided setup. Add email later from Settings → Mailboxes, or bank accounts and statement PDFs from Settings → Accounts.

Can I try GoodCompany before choosing a paid plan?

Eligible users can start a 14-day Solo trial during setup, without a card. The trial is available once per person. Team and Agency are paid from the start. Choose a paid plan to keep working after your trial; an expired trial makes the workspace read-only.

Why does building the workspace take some time?

After Do magic launches guided processing, it continues in the background even if you close the tab. View progress shows stages, costs and problems. Use Pause and Resume when needed, then check Review what we found and Finish review before opening the app.

How do I bring in the rest of my team?

Open Settings → Members and invite people by email, choosing a role for each person. You need permission to invite members and room within your seat allowance. Check Settings → Billing or Plans & pricing for current seat allowances and extra-seat options.

Where do I manage my plan and AI usage?

Use Settings → Billing for your subscription and Settings → AI usage to review AI consumption if your role allows access. AI usage is metered against your company’s allowance. You can compare the included allowances on the Plans & pricing page.
