A suggestion still needs your judgment
The Needs review section holds task suggestions. Read the proposed work and its context before accepting it. A suggestion is not evidence that a task has already been completed.
Step by step
- Open Tasks and locate Needs review.
- Read a suggestion’s proposed action and reason. Do not assume it has already changed a task.
- Check the email context and search the task board for existing work with the same outcome.
- Click Accept for useful work, or Dismiss when it is irrelevant or incorrect.
- Open the resulting task and verify its title, status, assignee, deadline and client/project links.
- Use Edit task → Save changes to correct the task when the source message does not support an inferred detail.
When a suggestion looks familiar
Search your task board for the work before adding another copy. The task detail can show linked emails so you can compare the original request with existing work. AI-generated details should be checked against the actual conversation.
Check the result
Accepted work should be represented by a task. A suggestion asking to change existing work should be checked against that task’s current state.
Before you review
You need task access. Accept requires task creation permission; Dismiss requires task editing permission. Suggestions can create a task or propose a change, comment, completion or cancellation for existing work. Read the action name as well as the title.
If acceptance fails
A suggestion can become out of date when newer email arrives or someone changes the task. Refresh Tasks, review the latest conversation and open the existing task before trying again. If the error asks you to dismiss a stale proposal, use Dismiss and make any still-needed correction on the current task with editing access. Do not create a duplicate just to get past the error.
