Before you start

You need bill or receivable editing permission for the invoice you are reviewing. Set aside is for review organization: it preserves the invoice, its assignments and its existing payment links.

Set aside and restore

  1. Open the invoice and choose Set aside, or select the relevant invoices in the list and use Set aside.
  2. To find it later, choose the Set aside view in Bills or Receivables. Clear any search or client filters that hide it.
  3. Open the invoice and choose Bring back, or select the invoices in that view and choose Bring back.
  4. Check the result and any skipped-item message. Eligible unmatched records may resume matching when brought back; inspect the resulting suggestions before confirming them.

What this does not settle

Set aside does not mark an invoice paid, void it or remove a confirmed payment. Bring back does not create a payment. Use payment-link controls to correct a match and an explicit deletion action only when the record itself should be removed.

Labels use the English interface. Available pages and actions depend on your company, plan and permissions.
