Prepare your personal account handover

Account deletion schedules removal of your personal login and details after the displayed grace period. It does not delete every company you worked in. Company records you created remain with those companies, with your name detached. If you are the only owner of any company, transfer ownership or delete that company first.

Schedule deletion

  1. Open Settings → Privacy → Delete my account.
  2. Choose Delete account… and complete the requested current-password confirmation, or email confirmation for an account without a password.
  3. Submit the request and read the scheduled deletion date. Resolve any company-ownership blockers shown.
  4. Save the information you need and finish any handover before that date.

Cancel a scheduled deletion

  1. Sign in before the scheduled date and return to Settings → Privacy.
  2. Choose Keep my account.
  3. Check that the scheduled-deletion notice is gone.

Understand the limit

The grace period offers cancellation before deletion runs; it is not a restore guarantee after removal. Scheduling deletion ends other signed-in sessions. If you cannot sign in to cancel, use the account-access recovery instructions immediately; do not assume support can reverse completed deletion or recover a lost authenticator.
