Before you start
Have access to your sign-in email and accurate company details. Connections and uploads are optional. Guided setup belongs to the owner who starts it; an invited teammate joins an existing company through their invitation instead.
Create your account and company
- Choose Create an account, enter your details and a password of at least 10 characters, and accept the terms and privacy notice. Verify your email using the emailed link. Available Google and Microsoft sign-in options use the provider’s own sign-in screen.
- Answer the Interview. Review the generated Profile, correcting the legal name, business details and reporting currency before choosing Create company and choose a plan.
- In Plan, compare the current plans and billing periods. Start the Solo trial if offered and eligible, or complete checkout. Wait for payment confirmation; use Check again if the page asks you to verify it.
- Choose Continue to setup when shown. Complete the two-step verification prompt if setup asks for it, and keep the recovery codes somewhere you can access without your phone.
Choose how to begin
- At Let’s set up your company, choose Set up with me to prepare sources and review the results, or I’ll set up manually to enter the app and add work yourself.
- For a minimal manual start, open Clients → Add client, then add a project and one task in Tasks → New task. You can connect services later.
- For guided setup, move through email, calendar, finances, documents, clients and team. Use Continue to skip optional sources. Review the preparation before Do magic launches processing.
How to recognize success
Manual setup opens the app. Guided setup first opens a saved processing view, then Review what we found. Complete its decisions and choose Finish review, then Open GoodCompany. Creating the company is separate from finishing source processing.
If you cannot continue
An unverified email, unfinished plan choice, failed payment confirmation or a required security step can hold up entry. Follow the message for that step. Do not create a second company just to repeat a failed checkout or import.
Labels use the English interface. Available pages and actions depend on your company, plan and permissions.
