Before you start

You need access to the source mailbox and permission to create Documents. The file must finish downloading before it can be saved. Moving an already-saved file to another folder also requires document edit permission.

Save and check a file

  1. Open the conversation in Inbox and find Attachments. Open the filename to inspect the downloaded file.
  2. Choose Save to Documents beside one file, or select several and choose Save … to Documents.
  3. Choose the destination folder, then Save attachment or the multi-file save button. Wait for confirmation.
  4. Choose Open document and confirm the file and folder. The original stays in the email. For an already-saved attachment, use Change folder to move its library location.

Recover from an incomplete result

Waiting for download means the file is not yet available. Check mailbox sync before trying again. Retry reading applies to failed extraction; it is separate from saving the downloaded file. If a batch partly succeeds, the dialog lists the remaining failed files so you can correct their errors without repeating every successful save.

A View bill link opens the extracted financial record. That record and the general Documents copy serve different purposes; inspect the bill before confirming any payment.

Labels use the English interface. Available pages and actions depend on your company, plan and permissions.
