Before you start
You need calendar access, permission to create or edit events, and a writable destination calendar. Built-in personal and company calendars do not need a provider connection. A calendar shared by a colleague is read-only to you.
Create an event you can find again
- Open Calendar and choose Create event. On a compact screen, the plus button opens the same editor.
- Select Calendar first. Choose a personal calendar for personal work or the appropriate company/provider calendar for shared work.
- Enter the title, Starts and Ends. Select All day only for a date-based event. Add Location, Description and Guests (email addresses) as needed.
- Choose Reminder and review Who can see this when shown. Only me hides an event from colleagues even when the account is shared.
- Choose Save event, then find the event on its date. Open it again to verify the time, calendar and saved details.
Changes, reminders and recurrence
Open an existing event to edit it. Read-only events need their owner or a writable calendar. Deleting a connected event is a different action from hiding its calendar and can remove the event from the provider too; read the confirmation.
Reminders depend on your notification settings and device permission. The editor does not provide local recurring-event creation. Manage recurring schedules at the connected provider and check the imported occurrences in GoodCompany.
If the event is missing
Open Calendars or Manage calendars and check that its calendar is selected. Return to the correct date and inspect any connection error. After saving to a connected calendar, also verify the provider’s version if synchronization reports a problem.
Labels use the English interface. Available pages and actions depend on your company, plan and permissions.
