Before you start
Calendar connections are included in Solo, Team and Agency, subject to your workspace’s feature availability and calendar permissions. Google or Microsoft must be configured by the service. Use the account that owns the schedule you want to connect.
Connect and choose what is visible
- Open Calendar and choose Connect Google Calendar or Connect Microsoft Calendar. Complete the provider’s sign-in and consent screens.
- Open Calendars or Manage calendars to inspect the connected account and its individual calendars.
- Select the calendars you want displayed. These checkboxes change your view; they do not grant colleagues access or stop synchronization.
- For a provider calendar you manage, use Pause sync or Resume sync to control its updates. Use the account’s Sync control to queue another check.
- Choose Share on your account to select colleagues. Shared events are read-only for them; events marked Only me remain hidden.
- Inspect an expected event on its date. If the account shows an authorization error, choose Reconnect and complete consent using the intended account.
Disconnect deliberately
Only the person who connected a provider calendar can disconnect it. Use Disconnect this calendar, read the dialog and confirm Disconnect calendar. This stops syncing and removes that account’s calendars and imported events from GoodCompany, including shared views. Events remain at the provider and the email connection is unaffected. Unsynced changes in GoodCompany are lost, so check them before disconnecting.
Built-in calendars cannot be disconnected. If you only want a calendar out of your view, clear its visibility checkbox instead.
If sync appears successful but nothing shows
A queued sync is not a completed import. Check the account error, per-calendar pause setting, visible calendars and displayed date. If you only have shared access, ask the connecting colleague to check the account.
