Before permanent deletion

Only an owner can delete the company. This is a company-wide action that removes the workspace for every member; it is different from leaving the company or cancelling a subscription. There is no company-deletion Undo in the app.

Prepare, then delete the intended company

  1. Complete any ownership or client handover. Review the GoodCompany plan, extra seats and any separate provider subscriptions before deletion; do not assume deleting the workspace completes their cancellation.
  2. Download and inspect the company archive first if you need a copy. If export is blocked, resolve that before continuing.
  3. Open Settings → Members → Danger zone and check the company name.
  4. Read the deletion scope, acknowledge the export step and type the company name exactly.
  5. Choose Delete company only when permanent removal is intended. Check that the company is no longer available in your company selector.

Scope and failures

Company records, memberships and uploaded files are in the deletion scope. Personal user accounts remain. This action does not establish that copies already exported, provider-held data or operational backups have been erased. Do not use it as a way to delete external bank, email or Drive accounts.

If deletion reports an error or the result is unclear, contact support before repeating it. Keep any downloaded archive securely. Account deletion is managed separately in Settings → Privacy.

Labels use the English interface. Available pages and actions depend on your company, plan and permissions.
