Step by step

  1. Open Statistics from Money, or More → Statistics on mobile.
  2. Choose This month, This year, All time, or Custom with From month / To month. All company accounts are included.
  3. Read Overview, then select a chart month to see its amounts or open View chart data. Scroll longer charts sideways.
  4. Choose Breakdowns to inspect categories and search merchants. Switch Expenses / Income and use Show more when needed.
  5. Choose Patterns & VAT for the median, average, recurring payments and VAT coverage.
  6. Check pending conversions, balance reconciliation and comparison dates before interpreting totals. Use Refresh to request updated data.
  7. For an unexpected number, open Transactions and inspect its account, date, category, VAT and transfer treatment. Reporting currency lives in Settings → Company.

Find what contributes most

  1. Choose Breakdowns.
  2. Check the income and expense category charts. All categories are included; click a category to hide or show it. Crowded lists have search and Show all / Hide all controls.
  3. Under The people behind the numbers, switch between Expenses and Income.
  4. Search by merchant or category. Totals are ordered largest first; use Show more for additional sources.
  5. Continue to the category and top-merchant trends to see how spending changes over time. Smaller categories are combined in Other categories in the category trend.

Understand patterns and VAT

  1. Choose Patterns & VAT.
  2. Compare the typical month (median) with the monthly average. The shaded band is the middle 50% of months; the vertical mark is the median and the dot is the average. Months with no activity inside the reported range are included.
  3. Check Recurring & one-off for payments detected as roughly monthly. These are historical patterns, not future commitments.
  4. Read VAT snapshot together with its coverage. When fewer than half of payments have VAT data, no net estimate is shown. Improve the underlying figures by matching invoices and reviewing transaction VAT. This snapshot is not a VAT return.

Reporting currency and cash movement

Statistics includes all company accounts and converts figures to the company’s Reporting currency using booking-date conversion based on MNB rates. Cash-flow income and expense totals exclude internal transfers. Bank balance history is reconstructed from statement openings and subsequent bank movements; it is not a live bank balance. There is no account filter on this page; use Transactions to investigate a particular account. Source transactions and invoices keep their original currencies. Net cash flow and net share of income describe recorded payments, not accounting profit.

If a total looks incomplete

A pending-conversion notice tells you how many transactions lack exchange rates and are excluded from converted amounts. Rates are fetched automatically; use Refresh later. Check imported statement periods, stopped bank feeds and transfer treatment in the source records. Under Bank balance over time, open How this balance is calculated to see any statement discrepancies and use Review your imports. A dash for a percentage means there is no usable denominator, not zero percent. On a loading error use Try again; an empty period offers Show all time and Import a statement.

Check the result

Amounts reflect recorded transactions across company accounts. Missing rates or bank records can make the report incomplete; net cash flow is not accounting profit.

Before using the figures

You need Statistics access. Reviewing underlying payments, imports and company settings depends on separate permissions. Import or sync the period you want to review and resolve important payment/category errors first. The reporting currency is a company setting, not a filter that changes the source invoice currency.

Keep a comparison reproducible

Note the selected period and reporting currency before comparing the report with an accountant’s figures. Check whether the other report is based on invoice dates or bank booking dates. Open View chart data for chart values, and review pending conversions before treating a converted total as complete.

Labels use the English interface. Available pages and actions depend on your company, plan and permissions.
